In the past 10 years, I changed jobs every 2 years (leaving in good standing), never fired. How do you approach the question, how do we know you aren't going to change jobs if we hire you.?
You are the only one that can figure out how to approach it. Why did you leave? Whats different about this company than the past ones? Those are things you need to take into consideration. How do you approach the question, how do we know you aren't going to change jobs if we hire you.?
Yoou be honest.
Simply.. you don't know, and anyone who guarantees that will be here in this job for the next 20 years is lying to you. I would like to stay in this position and work to build up long time committment to the business, but I cannot predict the future, and with anything there is always the possibility that something may happen outside of my own control that impacts on my length of stay in this company. What I can say is that i will give my all to the business, and am looking forward to the opportunity to commit for the long haul...
or something like that. at the end of the day, **** happens, and if they can't understand that, do you want to be working for them?
im a loyal person to this company
2 years isn't so bad to jump around these days. You can say you were seeking advancement/challenges in the past. With current interview you can say you will be loyal to them in return for advancement within. Advancement earned of course, by you. Which you will gladly display if hired.
