How frequently we should change jobs?

What are the factors to consider to stay in the present job.How frequently we should change jobs?

There is no defined period for changing the jobs. However, you should consider the following factors -



1. What is your pay package - is it in the same line as per the ongoing trends in the market (for the persons having similar experience like yours, who work in a similar organization like yours)



2. How is the atmosphere (working conditions) in your organization ?



3. Are you enjoying your job, or it has become monotonous - there must be some challenges in your work, then only you can have the job satisfaction ?



4. Most important - Retrospect your self and evaluate what will be your position after say 5 years in your present organization (with the same people around, same working conditions...etc..). If don't find yourself where you want to be after 5 years, then better to change.



5. Consider your age also. As you aproach close to 40, the opportunities go on reducing.



6. When you are selected in an another organization, please ask yourself the above points and then take the decision.How frequently we should change jobs?

1) Pay that allows you to live

2) Comfortable environment

3) Ability to produce
the average person lasts about five years in a job, but if job satisfaction is low it can be much less..........likewise, if it is high it can be the career of a lifetime :) work environment, benefits and long term opportunities for growth are important factors to consider

All of the above answers, but also oppurtunities to advance need to be considered.
At the start of career , u can chage job every year for 3 - 4 years, after getting proper experience in your field , join one good company with good post and do progress from there .
It totally depends upon how you feel there. Like working environment, salary, timings etc. otherwise its your destiny
Till you are satisfied and doing with owner stay on that job, and if you are not and you have better Chances you can think about other one but make sure you have other one in hand before you live you have prent job in your hand.
