Will I have to change jobs after knee surgery?

I am currently serving in the Army military police corps and I had knee surgery which was relatively unsuccessful and was wondering the how things may play out for me. I am not sure if I will have to change my mos or get a permanent profile or both or even possibly be discharged. any help would be appreciated. I had reconstructive surgery six months ago.Will I have to change jobs after knee surgery?
I would wait and see and try to avoid any knee-jerk reactions. You should try and get second opinions while you are still in and try to get some ';successful'; knee surgery. If you are discharged, you should get disability so hang in there and make them do the work, don't get impatient and try and ';hurry'; up and get out. My son did that and got screwed.

Just wait and see the result.
While on active duty, my husband had surgeries on both of his knees (at different times) and he was just fine. Check with your doctor to find out for sure what your outlook is.
