Is it normal to keep on switching jobs?

I've worked in 10 different companies in the past 8 years,all in the same line though.

Is it normal to be changing jobs so frequently?Once i know the work,I get bored and I look for another.

How should i stop changing?Is it normal to keep on switching jobs?
Sorry but when I am looking at someone's resume or application I do look at how long they have stayed at one job. I don't want to put the time and money into hiring someone that is not going to stay.Is it normal to keep on switching jobs?
Find something you like to do.

And something that's fun for you.

Then you will enjoy yourself and hopefully not change!
Changing jobs is okay if their is an improvement in position and remuneration. Companies do not like ';rolling stones.';
Changing careeers is normal. in your case, perhaps your personality is more of ';easily-gets-bored';. i would suggest that before you enter another job, try looking ahead, ponder the experiences you would get from it. also, this might be a sign that what you're doin right now is not what you really wanted. try to discover that.. ask yourself what you really want to do.
Well, its not the case about it being normal or not. But well, yes it IS normal. I mean, when the job becomes of no interest to you, you would want to change your job. Even though you've worked in 10 different companies in the past 8 years, they are all in the same line, so it doesn't make a difference if you've changed your job or not. But there are few people who would keep changing jobs. Because the longer you stay in that line, the more they will keep you. So, if you keep changing jobs, your application form will surely state so, and it'll put a bad impression on you. Therefore, you have to stop your habit. I know that you often get bored once you know the work, but its not only you! Your colleagues are all the same, bored of the same old work every single day. But, you've to bear with it. I mean, you just need the money, don't you? You need to earn money and so you work. Thus, if you get bored, that's that. If you really can't take it, maybe you would like to approach your superior to give you a different task. But it's gonna be best to do what you've been doing all along.
hey...for me it's still normal..

its just that you cant still figure out what you really want ...

dont worry.....you just have to really decide what exactly do you want to do.....and learn to love your job coz through that you'll enjoy everything and you will not be bored anymore%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;.
I don't know whether it is normal or not. I just know that regular job-hop is still not very popular with most employers out there. But it doesn't stop me from changing jobs!
