How Long Does It Take For You To Be Able To Change Jobs When You Are In The US Army?

In Other Words....If I Have a MOS Of Supply and I Want To Take The ASVAB again After A Year or so doin the job, how long would it take To Switch Over? Meaning How Long Would I Have To Work In Suppy be For You Can change? How Many Years?How Long Does It Take For You To Be Able To Change Jobs When You Are In The US Army?
OK, first off, you need to keep in mind that if you do well on the ASVAB there is no need to take it again. And, if you do take it again and don't score as well the second time around your ASVAB scores will change, for better OR worse.



As far as how long you have to be in your MOS, I believe it's a year before you can change. But, you can only change MOS' if the one you have is not understrength and the one you want to change to isn't overstrength.How Long Does It Take For You To Be Able To Change Jobs When You Are In The US Army?
To add to Double good info, you can also change when you re-enlist.
from my understanding you can take the ASVAB test every two years. However I have herd and been told you have to maintain that same MOS for 36 months in order to Cross Train into another MOS. The military does so they can keep people in the military longer. This also budgets the government on the cost of training the military in AIT because when you choose to change MOS you have to go through AIT again.
